Pet Health Requirements
In order to receive Services, pet(s) should be healthy, free of parasites and communicable diseases and be current on vaccines. It is highly recommended prior to meeting at any public locations, pet(s) test negative on fecal exam and have current flea/tick prevention applied. You agree to show proof of vaccination and Rabies vaccination certificate upon request of PP or Trainer at any time, or Animal control or to another person should a bite occur.

For all Services, Client agrees to inform PP of any pet medical or health conditions, old or new injuries, fears, traumas, and any other relevant pet information. Any relevant owner health or medical conditions should also be disclosed prior to Service.

PP is not responsible for any health conditions not directly preventable by PP, nor for any conditions that are stress or exertion induced (ie. diarrhea, skin allergies, eye discharge, fatigue, lack of appetite, etc). Client understands that Canine Cough and other illnesses are unpreventable, even when vaccinated, and PP is not responsible for its transmission. You also understand that public locations such as dog parks carry inherent risks for health conditions, disease, parasites and the like.

Additional Terms Related to Group Training
Vaccinations for group sessions are required and set forth by Trainer. You must have a current vaccination record available to show PP or Trainer prior to group class starting session and at any time requested by PP or Trainer. Requirements include but are not limited to: DHPP, Rabies, parasite prevention and strongly recommended are Bordetella, Influenza, Leptospirosis and a negative fecal test or preventative treatment.

Other requirements for group classes include but are not limited to:

  • The use of a non-retractable, 6’ or shorter leash.
  • To bring training treats and water.
  • No aggressive or reactive behavior by pets. Such as leash reactivity, or dog/people aggression.
  • Owners with dogs exhibiting these behaviors should first complete private training and be approved for group classes by a PP Trainer prior to registering for a group class.
  • To abide by all location specific rules and regulations.
  • Some classes may prevent the participation of other family members or children and some classes have other equipment, prerequisite and other requirements. If you participate in a group class, you agree to abide by the above terms and any other class specific terms Trainer sets.

Additional Terms Related to Board and Train Services
Owners must provide proof of vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) plus a negative fecal test or preventative treatment (within the last 6 months) prior to attending Board and Train. You must bring enough food for the entire stay, plus at least 3 extra meals and enough training treats (at least two full bags) and a crate/kennel/bed. Anything brought is susceptible to wear and tear and destruction or becoming lost. Everything must be clearly labeled and PP is not responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost items.

Full disclosure of pet behaviors, tendencies, triggers and fears must be provided to Trainer prior to booking a stay. Should a new issue arise, you agree to inform PP and Trainer immediately.

Board and Train stays do not guarantee behavior modification. Owner understands that dogs are intelligent creatures and can learn a set of rules in one location which does not guarantee they will follow those rules with you at home. As always, Owner involvement is crucial. You agree to attend all training sessions scheduled with Trainer and to follow Trainer instructions for training maintenance at home with pet(s).

Additional Terms Related to Service Training
Service dog training is extensive, and does not guarantee a pets’ ability to finish/become a service animal. Services are generally broken down in such a way to not require a full commitment until pet(s) are able to demonstrate their ability to have good potential to complete the training program. Owner involvement is crucial for service dog training and Owners must remain involved throughout the process. It can take 1-2 years to train a service animal and not all pets can become service animals. Your participation in service dog training implies your awareness and research into the process and commitment level needed for service training completion.

Additional Terms Related to Specialty Services
PP offers specialty services. These services have their own inherent risks and requirements, and also carry no guarantee for success. You agree to abide by any requirements set forth for any specialty service, to participate fully in whatever capacity the service requests, and to follow all instructions given by your Trainer.

Scope of Terms and Conditions
These Terms shall be construed pursuant to the laws of the State of California. These Terms of Service are binding upon you, your spouse, and your children. These Terms of Service supersede all prior discussions, representations, and agreements and expresses the entire agreement between you and PP. If any term of this agreement or its application at any time or to any extent is determined invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms in that provision along with all other provisions shall not be affected and shall be deemed valid and fully enforceable to the extent permitted by law. At PP and/or Trainer election, specific service duties may terminate at any time (ie. training, boarding). Upon termination of specific services, all provisions of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

By using PP services, you, as an individual and in your personal capacity, represent and warrant to PP that you are in agreement with the provisions herein and that you fully acknowledge your understanding of these terms and your ability to abide by them.
